The Floral Art of Satoshi Kawamoto reaches Manhattan PREV

His use of plants, illustration and handwritten typography, is completely peculiar. The shop constantly changes  the decoration as dies the types of plants they are selling, and it certainly is a very special place to go if you are in the city. Satoshi comes from Tokyo and is also super friendly.   When we went, most of the selection for sale were succulent plants ( infinite classes ), and we thought was very nice to meet him to enjoy and get a bit of his talent and special world.
On his spaces, you will find a very personal work mixing chalk illustrations and typography and all those green indoor plants all over the place, creating a unique atmosphere. Sometimes I  felt like being in the set of the floral shop of the “Little Horror Shop” of Roger Corman. You will be able to discover more about Satoshi and his works at his last book published „Deco Room with Plants“. Also you can as well go to any of his Green fingers shops of Tokyo, or this new one in New York and get, in person, what his work as floral artist is about:   just to bring a feeling of nature and calm to any living space.
