Located in the Marais, Merci is a 1500 square meter concept store that was once a fabric factory. The three-story loft space offers a wide variety of exclusive and innovative merchandise ranging from clothing, jewelry, cosmetics, books, and custom furniture to kitchen utensils. You can plan on spending a couple of hours strolling around Merci, pausing for a coffee break at their “library” cafe or grabbing a bite at their adorable canteen located in the shop. In terms of clothing, Merci sells contemporary French brands like A.P.C and Isabel Marant, to vintage clothing and also high-end designer labels such as YSL and Chloé. The best of all is that after breaking even, all proceeds are donated to a co-op for young women in Madagascar. Designers such as Stella McCartney, Paul Smith and YSL have created pieces exclusively for Merci that sell for 30-40% cheaper since they give up their profit margin to charity. Don’t miss out!
