London is probably one of the most expensive cities when you have to take the public transportation. A ride on the underground can be charged about 3 pounds for a couple of stations and to think about paying a 45 pounds taxi ride to get from one side to the other of the City just makes absolutely no sense.
So there is something starting to happen, that is getting bigger and bigger and is the Bikesharing service with all the blue bikes you can see around. Lets say you get a bike, you pay a fee of 2 pounds for the 24 hours access to it and pay for an hour of a ride around 2 more pounds. I can clearly see that this is the future way of moving around London as long as his Major Boris keeps on developing a sound network of bikes highways or paths for them. It Is just a matter of time.
