Sincerity & Simplicity

In Moscow, the capital of a centripetal country, the amount of luxury eventually reached its peak. At some point, people started to realize that they no longer want to show off their status in an expensive restaurant, but instead wish to simply enjoy good cuisine in places with a proper balance between price and quality. Thus, in the last few years there was a surge in casual dining — cafes, restaurants and kiosks with satisfying and simple food for an adequate price. Places where friendly atmosphere, coziness and sincerity come first. One of such places is a noodle shop called "Doodles".

Its main difference from most of the other new restaurants opened by famous entrepreneurs or companies is that it was launched by a married couple of Evgeny and Galina Denisov, who have never had any experience in running a restaurant before. He is a publisher, she used to work in fashion. He loves Hong Kong, she is into New York. Both of them felt the lack of a cozy friendly cafe in Moscow, so they created one last summer. Sincerity, warm-heartedness and simplicity became the main idea. You can feel it in the menu, the interior — but mainly in the people who work there. A family friend and professional chef Maxim Rozhkov helped the owners in creating a pan-asian menu — the assortment is not wide, but all the major meals are present: soups, main dishes, salads, desserts, homemade fruit drinks and beer.
